And I was thinking what I should do with it. Either:
- Pretty pictures of pretty things
- A blog about unrequited love with reblogs and quotes and such (kinda fits with the name)
- A blog more of a personal blog

I like option two. But any other ideas?

Option 2 sounds pretty cool yet slightly depressing. You could start a tumblr phenomenon :D

Okay, it is extremely rare for me to be posting a rant/vent on Tumblr, but I am so annoyed at what happened today. And before some of you jump to any conclusions, it doesn’t relate to anyone here, in fact it doesn’t at all. All except for one particular asshole who fined me $100 because he didn’t believe I was a student.

… yes, you did read that bit right.

To start with, today was pretty epic. ‘Pretend to be a Time Traveller Day’ was on today and I got all dressed up in some slightly ‘old-fashion formal’ clothes and joined the side of my Time Travelling ‘wife’, in which we were both from the 18th Century era, fascinated by all the technology around us and yelling “BLASPHEMY!” everytime a woman wearing shorts happened to go by. We grouped up with the Karaoke team today and some of them fell under the category of the Dystopian Time Traveller. To cut things short, I enjoyed everyone’s company and it was just nice to kinda put everything behind you and just have a great time together. Thank you all (you know who you are) for the epic day today :D

Anyway, on the trip home I bought the usual Concession Ticket on the bus for two zones, showed the driver my smartcard and the usual routine and sat on the bus. My ‘wife’ and I just couldn’t be bothered staying in character anymore, so we just casually laid back and enjoyed the ride, not talking much because our throats were aching. Got to the station, went past the gates, caught the train and arrived at Murdoch Station.

This was until my day went up Shit Creek quicker than you can say ‘Fried Eggs on Toast’.

Approaching the gates to leave the station, I flashed the ticket right in front of the Transit Guard at the gates. He stopped me, pulled me aside and asked me for some ID, because he didn’t believe I should have been travelling on a concession ticket. I showed him my Student Smartrider, as well as my School ID card and it wasn’t enough proof to show that I was a student.

So the bastard fined me $100.

He said this to me also: “Well, I don’t have to fine you, but I will anyway. But you can apply for an appeal and write a letter to (some official of Transperth) and have the fine waived.”

Seriously, what the hell…

I was fuming, but I didn’t snap back because starting an argument there would have delayed me more, and I needed to get home. (And not miss the bus as well) Let me tell you, it was hard to suppress my anger. Extremely hard. It really put a downer on a really great day out with friends.

As a final word, let me say this to you Mr. “High and Mighty Transit Guard”, you have another thing coming at you. Because you have really messed with the wrong person.

So yeah, thanks for reading my rant/vent. It seriously feels good to let stuff off your chest.

Oh and Chris, your ‘wife’ thinks you did an extremely good job of suppressing said anger, and is proud of you for holding your tongue and not being a smart arse to the guard. You won’t have to pay the fine, that’s for sure (has anyone met Mr Powell? He’s gonna ensure this fine will NOT be issued.)

This one for me please:

3) THE PAST - This one is more for beginners. Basically dress in period clothing (preferably Victorian era) and stagger around amazed at everything. Since the culture’s set in place already, you have more of a template to work off of. Some pointers:
- Airplanes are terrifying. Also, carry on conversations with televisions for a while.
- Discover and become obsessed with one trivial aspect of technology, like automatic grocery doors. Stay there for hours playing with it.
- Be generally terrified of people who are dressed immodestly compared to your era. Tattoos and shorts on women are especially scary.

Hmm… Now I gotta figure out what to wear -_-
